Mellow Johnny's Spring Classic
Hello to all! Thanks first of all for visiting my page here! The reason I've set this page up is that I will be participating, as a racer, in the Mellow Johnny's Spring Classic Mountain Bike Race on May 29-30. The event will take place at Juan Pelota Ranch in Dripping Springs, TX and is a benefit for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, aside from being a really good time!
If you're not aware, the Lance Armstrong Foundation is at the forefront of cancer research, awareness and support. Over the years, they've helped countless individuals not only beat cancer, but to lead a thriving life after it. The aim of the LAF is simple; to make cancer history! Most of us know someone who has been effected by cancer, and can agree that it would be the most welcome day to see this disease gone for good. Well, LAF is making beelines to that goal.

The race itself promises to be a tough one, and just to finish, I'll honestly be very happy! But I am training, and hope to make a strong showing. If you want more info about the race, check it out here:

The money I'm trying to raise here is in no way for myself; I'm in it for the mud and dirt! And to help out a great foundation! All money raised benefits cancer research, and other functions of Livestrong and the LAF. For this, each rider is asked to raise a minimum of $250. $250 to give someone a second chance, perhaps. I hope you'll help out...
